Great Aunt Ginny

She died this morning.  At 1 AM.

I am incredibly grateful…

That we went to see her yesterday.

That her illness came on quickly.

That she died quickly and in her sleep.

That she did not suffer.

That she was not alone, ever, not in life or in death.

That I knew her.

That I loved her.

That I can feel the pain of her passing AND the joy of the hope of her being with Jesus and her siblings again.

I can just imagine her up there giving Jesus crap for some thing or another. 🙂

He is lucky, He now gets her for all eternity!

    • Oh Alicia….cross country hugs work…in spirit….but I cannot wait until I get to hug you (and spin you around) again in real life! But first you must go to Kosovo and hug the necks of the Frey Guys, Naile, Labi, and Lavdim for me!

  1. Praying and thinking about you. I know how hard this is. I’m so thankful that you didn’t have to see her suffering too long. Last year, we had to watch my Mamaw slipping away for several months and it was soooo painful. Big hugs aimed your direction.
